Juan Ignacio Tula, an Argentine dancer and acrobat, trained at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque. Between 2015 and 2019, he developed his projects within Compagnie MPTA – Mathurin Bolze, where his first two creations, "Somnium" and "Santa Madera", were conceived and performed in collaboration with Stefan Kinsman as part of a mentorship. He also created his solo piece "Instante", presented in 2018 at Festival UtoPistes in response to a commission.

In 2019, he decided to establish his own company in Lyon to further explore Cyr wheel performance and contemporary creation.

This led to the founding of Compagnie 7bis, which has since become a platform for multiple creations. Among them are "Tiempo" (2021), co-created with Justine Berthillot; "Pourvu que la mastication ne soit pas longue", developed as part of "Vive le Sujet" for the Festival d'Avignon 2021, in collaboration with Hakim Bah, Arthur B. Gillette, and Mara Bijeljac; and "Lontano" (2022), co-created with Marica Marinoni.

The company is currently developing its next production, "Sortir par la porte, une tentative d'évasion", set to premiere in 2025.

Since 2022, he has also been an associate artist at Le Prato, Pôle National Cirque - Lille.
